So finally I have time to write a blog entry about Japan. I'm here since 8th May and I really enjoy it. The temperature is alright and it's mostly sunny. We already got to see and to eat so many things *w*

Farm, City and Supermarkets
So today Roy and me joined the host lady when she went downtown. First we went to a farm though. It was a very old building. The people there were so nice anlthough we did hardly hunderstand what they said.
We got cucumbers, eggplants and a watermelon as presents before we left again. The house they live in is really beautiful. Very old and huge. I think three or four couples live there. Like the parents and their children who are all married. So there are lots of people. We only met three of them though.
Afterwards we went to a market hall bought some stuff and went to a restaurant afterwards.
When we were finished with eating we went to a supermarket and also got some stuff there before we got home again.

Town
So I finally went "downtown". It's a very beautiful and quiet city. There are lots of traditional buildings and historical places. Roy and I went to a museum and to a cafe to eat shaved ice. It tasted really good.
But in the hostel it was very busy. Many customers came to stay and we had to prepare food for so many people. Anyway I really enjoy the work here. The host is a really nice person and so are the others staying here.
In the evening we also had the time to see a firework. It was so nice. I even took a video of it.

Arrival in Japan
Hello everyone. As you know I'm in Japan right now.
I had a really long trip with the plane. I had to change in Doha. From Osaka I went to Wakayama by bus. Afterwards I took the train to Yuasa. I's a small but beautiful village near the sea. I work in a hostel now where I have to help to prepare the food, clean the rooms and whatever else.
Since I had free time today I could go to the sea with Roy, a student from Taiwan. Also we went to a temple and a shrine.
In the afternoon we'll go "downtown" and Roy will show me some more places. I'm really looking forward seeing it.
Here is a short movie of being in front of the semui temple. The cicadas were so loud!
