Shop Introduction #1: su*pu*re

Today I'll start something new on my blog: shop introduction. I will show various physical stores and online stores to you and take time to talk a bit about them. This first time is kind of a special. It's about a plus-size store in Osaka I found per accident when I walked around there.

Japan 3rd part

So this is the last part of my trip to Japan. We didn't do that much anymore but I really enjoyed the time there.

On 19th was our first day in Kyoto. We visited the castle Nijo and also a shrine called Tenmangu. Afterwards we had great dinner: Wagyu. I wanted to eat it at least once.

 Salad from lunch

Lunch: Kanazawa-styled curry rice

Th following photos are from Nijo castle

So after the castle we went to Tenmangu near Kamishichiken

So since we were already next to it we walked a bit through Kamishichiken and had cake in a café.

Cream Puff for me

And strawberry roll cake for Tara

And here's our dinner

It was so delicious!

The next day we went to Kamogawa-Odori - a Geika/Maiko dancing event in Pontocho.

Our lunch: Sashimi, Tempura and Udon

And cake on afternoon: Apple pie for Tara

And Matcha Ice Cream Zenzai for me

Afterwards we walked a bit through Gion

And finally the Kamogawa-Odori started

In Gion

House in Gion

Our dinner was Okonomiyaki and Omsoba but I forgot to take a picture of the Okonomiyaki

This is the last photo. It was from 21st. We went to a Matcha restaurant that day.

I had a safe flight back home although it was really exhausting. During the whole flight where turbulences and I didn't sleep at all. Anyway I enjoyed my time in Japan and I'm looking forward going there again.

Japan - the final days

Also 7 weeks came to an end. During the last days we went to Universal Studios and after that to Arashiyama in Kyoto. We wanted to visit the bamboo forest. Also in the evening we went to gion and kawaramachi again.
Finally we also were able to meet a friend from Nagoya again. He, his wife and his little baby came to Osaka and together we went to the sun tower. It's not very pretty and any special. But it was a very nice day and we enjoyed it a lot.

Bridge in Arashiyama. That night came a typhoon and everything was flooded.

 Also in Arashiyama

 Some omiyage-shops

 bamboo forest

at the end of the bamboo forest there was this pond

On our way back from Arashiyama we saw that shrine

We took a walk in Miyagawacho when we found this

And also we found that boar shrine

This is our lunch on the next day when we met our friend. Traditional Japanese dishes! It was so delicious!

 The sun tower

And I guess that is why it's called sun tower

 The park area nearby

And another photo of the park

On the same day we met up Sabi, Tara and me took the night bus to Tokyo. We went to concerts of Dir en grey there. The night was hard. We didn't have much sleep. When we arrived we took a nap in Ueno park and ate lunch. Afterwards we checked in the hotel. Though we didn't have much time we could at least relax for a few minutes and then we had to leave again to take the train to Yokohama.
The next day was more relaxing though we couldn't sleep late again. I had an appointment with a company in Akasaka and the others went to Harajuku during that time. Afterwards we went to the second concert. The day after we had to go back to Osaka again. So we took the Shinkansen and arrived at around noon. In the night we took our plane back to Germany. So the last few days were so stressful. But we enjoyed also that time.

When we came back we had to get everything done for our cosplays for the Bookfair in Frankfurt. Still we didn't sew everything but soon we're finished. Still 1 1/2 weeks to go. Not much time anymore. But we give our best! I will show you photos of course.

Japan - A not so short summary

So I'm back home again but I have lots of photos for you. So I guess it's not the first time I will use a "read more" for my entry. Otherwise it's just so much!

So with my host we were in Wakayama and visited the castle
This is Wakayama-jo. It's quite nice but we didn't have much time since we had to get back to the hostel early.

Here's a photo of the beach in Yuasa again

And the old city during the night

And a few days later we went to Osaka. After all we were 5 persons to stay there and it was really nice. We travelled a lot and ate a lot and bought a lot. Haha.
